What are the Protection Levels in AppGuard Solo?
Protected: Default level where all trusted applications are protected.
Allow Installs: Temporarily reduce protection for software installations or updates.
Off: Disables protection for a set period (default is 20 minutes).
Can AppGuard Solo update automatically?
Yes, AppGuard Solo can be configured to check for updates automatically. You can enable automatic updates via the AppGuard Solo Updates settings.
How do I customize AppGuard Solo?
You can modify protection policies in the Customize section:
Add or remove applications from the Guarded Apps list.
Adjust alert settings, user space exclusions, and publishers.
Change advanced settings such as suspension timeout and self-protection.
What is the Guarded Apps feature?
The Guarded Apps list includes applications that AppGuard protects. These apps are restricted from performing high-risk actions, preventing potential malware exploitation.
How do I manage alerts?
AppGuard Solo allows you to customize alerts for:
Blocked launches
Guarded execution events
MemoryGuard actions
Privacy events
You can enable or disable specific alerts in the Alerts Tab.
How do I whitelist applications in AppGuard Solo?
To whitelist an application from User Space, add it to the User Space Exclusions list in the User Space Tab and set the inclusion column to “No.”
